The SABS BUILDING SYSTEM
The SABS Building System cuts construction cost and timelines by reducing the components needed to build. At the core of the system is a EPS foam which acts as the skeleton and frame of the structure which includes all exterior walls, all interior walls, mid floors, and roof. The EPS foam is than created in a 8' x 4' grid panels which is used to create the form for the structure. The EPS foam also provides the insulation and all utilities are then channeled in directly into the EPS foam walls. Once the EPS foam skeleton completed then it is fully coated with Strata's proprietary patented mix called Sabscete. Strata's patented cementitious coating Sabscrete is mixed and applied using conventional methods. The SABS coating thickness is determined by the FEA engineering report. then the finished SABS structure can have conventional interior and exterior finishes such as stucco, drywall mud, sheet rock, facia, etc.
This remarkable technology can withstand Earthquake, water and vapor proof, fire resistance (class A finish interior finish with a flame- spread index of 25 or less and a smoke-developed index of 450 or less), and wind resistance up to 265 MPH. The SABS Building System not only a high quality product and durable but developed for disaster relief. The patented structural design software prepares a comprehensive FEA engineering report allowing the building design to be tested in a computer before the structure is built. The system is considered to be a nano composite; the foam and the proprietary Sabscrete once bonded design to create a structural system that can not only be the highest quality of strength but also making construction faster and more affordable.

SABS walls average an astonishing 75-100 R-Value with no added insulation as the EPS Foam Walls act not only as the skeleton frame of the structure but also as the insulation. The high R- Value translate to Temperature Control of the SABS Structure creating savings up to 30% on heating and cooling or even more.

Building System (SABS)
Dr. Nasser Saebi, CEO and Founder of Strata International Group and a Master Engineer has spent his entire career developing the SABS technology.
Born in Tehran, Iran a young Nasser Saebi wanted to travel to the United States Of America to pursue better educational opportunities and the American Dream. In 1960 Nasser travelled to the United States on a scholarship to the University Of Iowa. With the start of his structural engineering education Nasser went on to get his Bachelors, Masters, and finally ending with his Doctrine in Structural Engineering at the University of Utah.
There during the time of his doctrine the conception and origination of SABS was created. Nasser studied natural elements for inspiration during his doctrine thesis such as the tortoise which has a hard bodied shell with a soft bodied tissue that lives inside the shell creating a natural composite by nature.
Once the SABS thesis was completed and young Nasser Saebi became Dr. Saebi the idea of SABS was still far from being completed as the computer and software technology needed to engineer the SABS composite system was not available during the last 70's and 80's.
During those two decades Dr. Saebi practiced the highest level of engineering even helping develop and redesign the Persian Gulf Oil Rigs which is now the 5th largest oil supply chain in the world.
Once the journey of the two decades came to an end so did Dr. Saebi's journey with other structural engineering endeavors. As the 90's computer and software technology finally caught up with requirements needed for the heavy structural calculations of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) engineering that is needed to bring the SABS Building System to life. Dr. Saebi spent nearly all of the 90's to write the SABS testing requirements and methods gearing up for the submittal to the International Code Council (ICC-ES).
It did not stop there for Dr. Saebi. As the testing methods of SABS Building System was completed the most difficult task lay ahead, the submittal to ICC and the beginning of a long journey of product testing and development. That's when a new millennium begun and Strata International Group, Inc (SIG) was developed as a firm. Dr. Saebi and managing partners formed SIG to help raise capitol needed for the testing data required for ICC submittal.
Over the next eight years (00 - 08) Dr. Saebi and SIG spent nearly close to four million dollars in product testing and eight rigorous years over thousands of tests the ICC granted Dr. Saebi & SIG completion and approval of all testing methods. With the ICC ESR code in hand, Dr. Saebi & SIG can no design residential and commercial structures that can be accepted and permitted in all 50 states in America and around the globe.
With Dr. Saebi's lifelong work finally coming to a reality there remains two goals left he wishes his legacy to be remembered by. The first goal is to make housing affordable and accessible to all and have housing available to all humanity ending humans living on the streets because they cannot afford a safe shelter. The second is saving the planet from natural disasters caused by the mass use of lumber.
